The Bubble skin care line has been making big waves on social media and among influencers as its innovative formula promises the use of non-comedogenic ingredients to provide a deep cleanse and intense moisturizing benefits. I wanted to test out and review the two top Bubble moisturizers from the Bubble Skin Care line, the Level Up Balancing Gel Moisturizer and the Slam Dunk Hydrating Moisturizer.

It’s great for all skin types, especially oily skin as it restores hydration without clogging pores or adding additional shine.

Bubble Skincare Level Up Balancing Gel Moisturizer Review
The Bubble Skincare Level Up Balancing Moisturizer is a very light-weight and clean gel moisturizer. It absorbs super quickly and leaves no tackiness or sticky/greasy residue. My skin is typically oily within 3-4 hours of washing and moisturizing and I did feel like Bubble’s Level Up Moisturizer helped minimize oil production and left my skin oil-free for the whole day.
It is a fragrance-free moisturizer, although there is a bit of a slight floral, chemical scent, similar to CeraVe. It didn’t bother me too much, although it may be a bit much for those who are sensitive to smells and want something 100% odorless. The most positive benefit comes from my skin feeling very hydrated and baby smooth while controlling shine. Plus, the lightweight texture makes it perfect for daytime use under makeup.
The balancing of dry and oily skin and moisturizing effects without clogging pores works great in staying hydrated while clearing acne breakouts. Overall, if you’re looking for a hydrating lotion for oily to combination skin that’s super light-weight, and are looking to minimize oil and shine, Bubble Skincare Level Up Balancing Moisturizer is a really good choice.
Bubble Skincare Slam Dunk Hydrating Facial Moisturizer
Bubble Skincare Slam Dunk Hydrating Facial Moisturizer delivers moisture deep into the skin, leaving it soft, supple, and revitalized. This plant-based facial cream includes Aloe Leaf Juice and Hoya Lacosuna Flower Extract to deeply hydrate and restore essential nutrients to the skin. It’s high in vitamins and essential fatty acids, which soften and moisturize while keeping dull, dry skin in check.

Similar to the Level Up Balancing Gel Moisturizer, The Bubble Skincare Slam Dunk Hydrating Facial Moisturizer is fast absorbing and super light-weight, leaving no heavy, greasy feeling. It differs from the Level Up Gel with more of a lotiony-cream texture that’s best for normal to dry skin. It may be a bit too heavy for oily skin-types.
I was first drawn to Bubble Skincare Moisturizers since they include very few comedogenic ingredients as they cause me to break out. A tiny, flower-shaped dollop of cream is enough to keep your face hydrated all day. It also works great as an over-night moisturizer, providing deep hydration and rejuvenation while you sleep. Your skin will be soft, smooth, and feeling refreshed by the time you wake up.
Bubble’s Slam Dunk moisturizer is fragrance-free, but like the Level Up Gel moisturizer, it has a faint chemical/plant smell. They both come with super cute packaging and a push top applicator that’s easy-to-use, but may not be ideal for those who like more control over how much product they use. If you’re looking for an effective, light-weight daily moisturizer for normal to dry skin, the Slam Dunk Hydrating Facial Moisturizer would be a good addition to your skin care routine.
